Anthropic opens Claude Duet, a proactive AI agent, to a US waitlist
On 21 October 2026, Anthropic opened a research preview of Claude Duet, an agent app for professionals and small business owners. It is US only, by waitlist, for Pro and Max subscribers, not yet on Team or Enterprise plans. Anthropic says it is designed to ask for approval before it sends a message, pays, signs a document or deletes anything.
What it means for you: If you are a US sales leader on a Claude Pro or Max plan, you can join the waitlist to try it on follow-ups and forecasts. Anthropic says it is not yet available on Team or Enterprise plans or outside the US, so it cannot yet be rolled out through a Team or Enterprise plan.
